ASKLARRY BACKUPS
Your backups.
Your Google Drive.
AskLarry Backups connects an administrator’s Google account to the AskLarry backup service so encrypted server archives can be stored and checked in Google Drive.
Open the secure connection pageAn authorized AskLarry administrator account is required to connect Google. This information page is public.
What the connection does
- You authorize Google access.
Google displays the account and permissions requested. AskLarry does not receive your Google password.
- The backup service stores encrypted archives.
Server files and database exports are encrypted before upload. The service uses Drive to upload, list, download, verify, and apply backup retention to its archives.
- You remain in control.
You can revoke access in your Google Account. Contact AskLarry for help disconnecting the service or requesting deletion of stored connection records.
Why Google Drive access is requested
The backup connection requests Drive access to manage and verify backup archives, including existing archives. Google describes this permission broadly; AskLarry uses it for the backup operations described here.
Basic Google account information identifies the account that authorized the connection. Offline access lets scheduled backups run without requiring you to sign in for each backup.
Other customer integrations are configured separately. This page describes AskLarry Backups.
